The seventh Special Olympic Pakistan Unified Marathon was held in DHA Phase VIII starting at 7 am on Sunday (February 27, 2022) after the opening ceremony.

The Swiss watch manufacturer Omega and Sonraj, Pakistan's top importer of watches and luxury accessories, sponsored an event honoring the Apollo 11 mission with the unveiling of the Speedmaster Moonwatch to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. The ceremony took held in Karachi at Dolmen Mall, Clifton, where an Apollo-themed KIOS featuring the historic Apollo 11 mission as well as a Speedmaster Moonwatch was on display.
